Professor Zhao Yongjun from the Space Science Academy of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands Visited the China Institute for Urban Governance and Conducted Academic Exchanges

On the afternoon of November 21, 2018, Professor Zhao Yongjun from the Space Academy of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands visited the School of International and Public Affairs of Shanghai Jiaotong University and the China Institute for Urban Governance, and discussed the basic situation, future development, government department policy consultation, and international cooperation and exchanges of the Institute in Room 233 of the new building of Xuhui Campus. The event was hosted by Gu Xiaokun, deputy director of the Cooperation and Exchange Department of the China Institute for Urban Governance. Chen Jie, Jia Hua Professor of the China Institute for Urban Governance, full-time researcher Zhang Chuanyong, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center of the School of International and Public Affairs Peng Jingjing, postdoctoral researcher Li Ying, and Xie Boming from Cooperation and Exchange Department, attended the exchange.

In the exchange, Professor Zhao Yongjun also communicated effectively with the participants on the basic situation of the University of Groningen and the faculty, as well as the topic selection, research trends and difficulties of the land research, and the publication of academic journals. Professor Zhao also put forward basic ideas for future academic seminars with the China Institute for Urban Governance. This academic exchange has achieved the expected results, further deepening the close ties with the international academic community and promoting the process of internationalization and cooperation of the China Institute for Urban Governance.
