Conference Theme Urban Governance Innovation and Sustainable Development in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
Over the past few decades, an increasing number of people have been living in cities. According to the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, the global urban population is expected to increase by 2.2 billion from 2021 to 2050, with the urban population share rising from 56% in 2021 to 68% in 2050. Cities, as one of humanity's greatest inventions, provide a better life for people but also face a series of pressing issues. Addressing these challenges requires extensive collaboration among governments, societies, businesses, and the public, as well as interdisciplinary and international participation from experts and scholars.
