Yan Junqi visited the overall construction of Xuhui Campus, and listened to the work reports of the China Institute for Urban Governance, the School of International and Public Affairs and the Healthy Yangtze River Delta Institute, and had a discussion with the participants. The forum was hosted by Hu Wei.

On behalf of the school, Huang Zhen welcomed Yan Junqi's investigation, and briefly introduced the situation, existing development and exploration of the China Institute for Urban Governance, the School of International and Public Affairs and the Institute of Healthy Yangtze River Delta.

Wu Jiannan introduced the establishment process, construction orientation, organizational system, construction ideas and core practices of the China Institute for Urban Governance. He reported on the work and achievements in the influence of decision-making, international and domestic influence, academic influence, talent attraction and institutional mechanism since the establishment of the institute, and prospected for the work of the institute in 2019.

Jiang Wenning reported on the history, the subject situation, the faculty, student development, party building work, academic exchanges, international cooperation and exchanges of the School of International and Public Affairs. He also introduced the work done by the School in the delivery of MPA talents and cadre non-degree training for the country and society.

Zhang Lufa reported on the construction plan of the Healthy Yangtze River Delta Research Institute from the background, positioning, ideas, plans, achievements and guarantees of the construction, and reported on the preparations for the first healthy Yangtze River Delta Summit in 2019.

After

listening to the reports from all aspects, Yan Junqi exchanged discussions with the people present and made a concluding speech.Yan Junqi fully affirmed the achievements of the China Academy of Urban Governance, the School of International and Public Affairs, and the preparatory work for Healthy Yangtze River Delta Research Institute. She also gave positive comments on the construction of the liberal arts, saying that liberal arts construction plays an important role in improving the overall "fine spirit" of the school. Yan Junqi pointed out that academic research and think tank research should stand in a fair and objective position, not forgetting the initial heart, advancing with the times, and having ambitions and strategic and directional research. Finally, Yan Qiqi also put forward expectations and suggestions on the strategic cooperation between the Institute, the College and the Democratic Progressive Central Committee.
